Steps before bringing the wires to receive the crushing service

Wire classification:

Sort by metal type: Different types of wires may have different core metals, such as copper or aluminum. Sorting them from the beginning will facilitate the sorting process after grinding and will result in high-purity metals.

Sort by size and insulation type: Some wires have thick insulation, some have thin insulation, or multiple layers of insulation. Sorting by size and insulation type will allow the crusher to be set up appropriately for each type of wire, resulting in the best grinding efficiency.

Removal of contaminants:

Unplug or disconnect devices: Make sure to remove all plugs, switches, or other electronic devices attached to the ends of the wires. These can damage the crusher or contaminate the recycling process.

Remove other debris: Such as duct tape, cable ties, or other plastic scraps that may be entangled in the wires. If there is a lot of oil, grease, or dirt, a basic cleaning should be done as much as possible to reduce contamination.

Cutting wires (if necessary):

For very long wires, or wires that are large and thick, cutting them into sections of suitable length (e.g. 1-2 meters) will make them easier to transport and feed into the crusher.

Storage and transportation:

Bundling or packaging: Bundle wires into rolls or put them in strong bags/containers to make them easy to transport and prevent tangling.

Identify types: If you have already sorted the types of wires, labeling the type of wires on the containers will help the service provider understand and manage them more easily.
